Vinegar Cucumbers Again!
Okay this time, I split it into two batches:
The left one is normal:
- 1 lb. little cucumbers
- 2.5 big cloves of garlic (minced)
The right one has all those and:
- two teaspoons of chili oil
Then, I added to both:
- two circles of sesame oil
- a little over half height of white vinegar
- 1.5 heaping tablespoons of sugar
Yay! Let's see how they taste tomorrow morning. :) Nitey nites!
*** UPDATE two days later! ***
I had too much vinegar, oopsies. I added two more calm teaspoons of sugar and it was still too vinegar-y. Next time, I'll try just less than half the height of vinegar and two heaping teaspoons of sugar for each. :) Same for the chili oil one too - that one had okay spiciness but still too vinegar-y!
Updated recipe:
- 1 lb. cucumbers
- 2.5 cloves of garlic, minced
- two small circles of sesame oil
- just less than half the height of white vinegar
- 2 heaping teaspoons of sugar
- optional: 2 teaspoons of chili oil
Yay!!
